Green Growth and Grime Gone from This Home's Siding

That green growth along the base of the siding is one of those things that sneaks up on you. It starts subtle - a little discoloration here, some dark streaking there - and before long it's spread across a big stretch of your exterior. That's exactly what we were working with here.

The lower courses of vinyl siding had a heavy buildup of algae and dirt, especially near ground level where moisture tends to hang around longer. That kind of growth doesn't just look bad. Over time it holds moisture against the surface and can work its way into seams and gaps where it really doesn't belong.

A proper house wash gets into all of that. We use a soft wash approach that lets the cleaning solution do the heavy lifting rather than blasting the siding with high pressure. That matters a lot with vinyl - too much pressure and you risk forcing water behind the panels or damaging the material itself. The goal is clean siding, not a repair bill.

What we ended up with is a completely clear, uniform surface from top to bottom. No streaking, no green patches, no buildup along the lower panels. The whole side of the home looks like it belongs on the house again - not like something that's been collecting whatever the weather throws at it for the past few seasons.
